Seriously Social Bridge

Interested in Bridge? Denise Dodd runs Bridge classes for beginners and regular players at Kedron, Carindale and the United Service Club at Wickham Terrace. Denise is a supporter of BSOL and encourages prospective Bridge players to access to her website and perhaps practice playing via various Bridge computer programs.

University of the Third Age

Want to learn about other things apart from computers? Have you heard about U3A which stands for 'University of the Third Age'? The Third Age is described as the age of active retirement which comes after the age of youth and the age of work and home making. 'University' is a loose term as there are no academic requirements for membership and no exams!
