The Australian Pensioners’ and Superannuants’ League, Qld Inc. (APSL) is a voluntary support, referral, information, advocacy and lobby group with members of varying ages but with one thing in common: they are people who are receiving various types of pensions with some living partly on superannuation funds.

Australian Seniors Computer Clubs Association

The National Peak Body for Seniors and Technology and is a Public Benevolent Institution. The site has been created for Seniors, particularly Seniors who are interested in using a computer. It carries a wealth of information including data about Seniors Computer Clubs. All BSOL members are entitled to access the secure side of the site. When you login in to the BSOL site then the password & log in name to gain access the ASCCA site will be displayed.

Carers Queensland

Supporting Family Carers in Queensland

Carers provide unpaid care and support to family members and friends who have a disability, mental illness, chronic condition, terminal illness or who are frail.  More than one in eight Australians provide care of this kind.The purpose of Carers Queensland is to improve the lives of carers.  They provide important services like counselling, advice, advocacy, education and training.  We also promote the recognition of carers to governments, businesses and the public.To contact Carers Queensland, you can call (07) 3900 8100 or toll free 1800 242 636.

Council on the Aging

COTA is Australia's leading seniors' organisation, with individual members and seniors organisation members in all States and Territories.  COTA protects and promotes the well-being of all seniors.COTA is an independent consumer organisation run by and for senior Australians.  COTA - Council on the Ageing - has been serving the interests of Australian seniors since 1951.  There is a COTA in every state and territory.

Ethnic Communities Council of Queensland

The Ethnic Communities Council of Queensland (ECCQ) represents the interests of the many people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds (CALD) who are part of the broad social community of Queensland, and to promote multiculturalism. It is a not-for-profit, community-based State peak organisation. ECCQ contributes to national policy and debate on all matters concerning ethnic communities and multiculturalism through its affiliation with the Canberra-based Federation of Ethnic Communities Councils of Australia (FECCA).
