 Brisbane Seniors OnLine is opening the doors to the world-wide web to over-50s in the Brisbane metropolitan area.  A team of dedicated volunteer mentors provides a straightforward, hands-on learning program for the eager learners and age is no hurdle, some are in their eighties, or older. They provide practical advice and confidence to those who might be intimidated by the idea  of using modern communications and add a human touch to the learner’s introduction to the electronic world.

 Members are taught how to surf the internet, do basic word processing,  send and receive email from family and friends, transfer photos from camera to PC and play DVDs and music, go on a virtual holiday around the world, see and learn about any city/place in the universe.  If they do not have a computer,  they can attend lessons in the George Street Central Training centre or community centres in various parts of Brisbane.

A gift voucher for $60.00  ($20  joining fee and $40  for the year)  gives the grateful recipient approximately 12 one-hour lessons in their own home, or at the BSOL Central Training Centre, plus ongoing support for the rest of the year.
